New for 2025 is the CCM Jetspeed Youth hockey sticks. These sticks are designed for young players who are looking for a reliable and durable stick, to help them get to that next level. This stick comes with a unique flex profile, smaller shaft to cater to smaller hands, and an optimized blade construction.
Stick Profile
The Jetspeed Youth series of sticks feature a unique youth flex profile. It is designed with kids in mind, and the flex profile on this stick helps aspiring players loaf their sticks while providing tons of support for great stickhandling and passing.
Shaft Construction
With a performance youth shaft design, the lightweight and super durable shaft is designed to help smaller hands handle a stick like it’s second nature. The now improved Sigma STP carbon weave is further designed to improve durability of the stick, providing players with a reliable option.
Blade Construction
The Jetspeed Youth stick has an optimized youth blade. It has an adapted curve, size and lie angle to help young players grab the puck, control it, and upgrade their shooting ability. It is reinforced in the heel and toe to further increase resistance against impacts.
Grip
The stick uses a full grip to help with control and feel during the game.
Blade Patterns, Flex & Stick Length
The CCM Jetspeed 20 Youth Hockey Stick comes in the following blade patterns: P29, and P28.
P28 is a much more aggressive stick pattern, used often by elite players. This blade curve specializes in quick and accurate shots, but it can be a bit difficult to get used to since it is also very good at raising the puck.
P29 is the best blade pattern for all-around play, with a mid-curve style. It is great at handling the puck in small spaces, including face-offs. This curve may suffer a little bit on the backhand.
